For the galettes
3 soupspoons of cooking oil painting( canola, vegetable)
-1/2 pounds of80/20 ground chuck
mug of onion, finely diced
1 large egg
1 tablespoon Tiger Sauce, or hot pepper sauce, or to taste, voluntary
tablespoon of seasoned swab
tablespoon garlic greasepaint
1/4 to1/2 ladles lately cracked black pepper
About1/3 mug of all purpose flour, for dipping the galettes
For the Gravy
1 large onion, halved and sliced( about 3 mugs sliced)
1 mug of beef broth
1 mug of water
mug of all purpose flour
tablespoon of seasoned swab, or to taste
1/4 tablespoon of lately base black pepper, or to taste
/ 2 teaspoon of Worcestershire sauce, voluntary
tablespoon of browning & seasoning sauce( like Kitchen Bouquet), voluntary
mugs of sliced mushrooms, voluntary
Directions
- Heat the cuisine oil painting over medium high in a large heavy- bottomed pristine skillet. In a medium sized coliseum, gently combine the ground chuck, diced onion, egg, hot sauce, seasoned swab, garlic greasepaint and pepper. Shape into 4 to 6 equal sized galettes. Dip each croquette into the flour and cook until browned on both sides; remove and set those away.
- Add the sliced onions to the skillet and cook over medium heat until smoothly caramelized, stirring regularly. Whisk together the beef broth, water,1/4 mug of flour, seasoned swab, pepper, and the Worcestershire and Kitchen Bouquet, if using, until well combined. Pour into the skillet with the onions and stir constantly, until admixture begins to cake.
