ONION AND CUMIN BEEF STIR- Shindig

constituents

1 lb hand steak, thinly sliced against the grain
large onion, sliced
cloves garlic, diced
tbsp fresh gusto, diced
tbsp cumin seeds
1 tsp ground cumin
tsp red pepper flakes
2 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp oyster sauce
1 tbsp vegetable oil painting
swab and pepper to taste
Fresh cilantro for trim( voluntary)

Instructions

  1. Marinate the beef
    In a coliseum, combine the sliced beef with 1 tbsp soy sauce and 1/2 tsp ground cumin. Mix well and let it marinate for at least 15 twinkles.
  2. toast the oil painting
    In a large skillet or wok over high heat, toast the vegetable oil painting.
  3. Cook the beef
    Add the marinated beef to the skillet and stir- shindig until browned on all sides. Remove the beef from the skillet and set away.
  4. Sauté aromatics
    Add the garlic, gusto, and cumin seeds to the skillet and cook for about 30 seconds, or until ambrosial.
  5. Add onion
    Add the sliced onion to the skillet and stir- shindig for 2- 3 twinkles, or until softened.
  6. Return beef to skillet
    Add the cooked beef back to the skillet and mix well with the onions.
  7. Season the stir- shindig
    Add the remaining soy sauce, oyster sauce, red pepper flakes, and swab and pepper to taste. Stir- shindig for another 1- 2 twinkles to combine flavors.
  8. Garnish and serve
    Garnish the stir- shindig with fresh cilantro, if asked , and serve with rice
