ONION AND CUMIN BEEF STIR- Shindig
constituents
1 lb hand steak, thinly sliced against the grain
large onion, sliced
cloves garlic, diced
tbsp fresh gusto, diced
tbsp cumin seeds
1 tsp ground cumin
tsp red pepper flakes
2 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp oyster sauce
1 tbsp vegetable oil painting
swab and pepper to taste
Fresh cilantro for trim( voluntary)
Instructions
- Marinate the beef
In a coliseum, combine the sliced beef with 1 tbsp soy sauce and 1/2 tsp ground cumin. Mix well and let it marinate for at least 15 twinkles. - toast the oil painting
In a large skillet or wok over high heat, toast the vegetable oil painting. - Cook the beef
Add the marinated beef to the skillet and stir- shindig until browned on all sides. Remove the beef from the skillet and set away. - Sauté aromatics
Add the garlic, gusto, and cumin seeds to the skillet and cook for about 30 seconds, or until ambrosial. - Add onion
Add the sliced onion to the skillet and stir- shindig for 2- 3 twinkles, or until softened. - Return beef to skillet
Add the cooked beef back to the skillet and mix well with the onions. - Season the stir- shindig
Add the remaining soy sauce, oyster sauce, red pepper flakes, and swab and pepper to taste. Stir- shindig for another 1- 2 twinkles to combine flavors. - Garnish and serve
Garnish the stir- shindig with fresh cilantro, if asked , and serve with rice
