Cherry and Pistachio Cake❤Recipe👇👇
1 and 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 cup ground pistachios
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
3 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup milk
1 cup cherries, pitted and chopped (fresh or canned)
1/4 cup shelled pistachios, chopped (for garnish)
Powdered sugar (for dusting)
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour an 8-inch round cake pan.
In a bowl, mix together the flour, ground pistachios, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.
In a large bowl, cream together the granulated sugar and butter until light and fluffy.
Add the eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, alternating with the milk, starting and ending with the flour mixture.
Gently fold in the chopped cherries.
Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and smooth the top.
Bake for 35-40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean.
Let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely.
Garnish with chopped pistachios and dust with powdered sugar before serving.
