Air Fryer Mashed Potato Galettes
Is my new favorite way to use leftover mashed potatoes. 😋 Seasoned with Garlic and Parmesan, dipped in Panko, I love how they turn out crisp external with the ethereal soft middle. Kiddies are happy 😍
Mix constituents together, and carve the croquette into the hotcake shape (approx1/2 inch thick). Dip the croquette in panko (no eggwash demanded) and airfry ( air crisp) 4 min per side. YUMMO! 🥔 Constituents
2 mugs mashed potatoes. Not too liquidy or too watery.
1 egg
3 garlic cloves, finely diced. Can sub for garlic greasepaint.
3 Soupspoons All- purpose flour. Can sub for flour of choice.
mug grated parmesan rubbish. Can sub with cheddar rubbish or rubbish of choice1/2 mug parmesan for coating
1 tablespoon Italian seasoning. Can sub for seasoning of choice
mug breadcrumbs or Panko
Swab and pepper to taste
For Garnish
Fresh Diced parsley for trim. Can sub with green onions or fresh dill, finely diced. A nugget of sour cream on top of each potato cutlet. Bacon crumbles.
Directions
In a large coliseum, add the mashed potatoes, egg, diced garlic,1/2 mug grated parmesan rubbish, seasoning, swab & pepper, and 3 soupspoons of all- purpose flour. Mix until all constituents are well combined.
Place1/2 mug parmesan rubbish and1/2 mug breadcrumbs in a shallow dish and mix together.
Divide the potato admixture into 8 equal corridor and using your hand form 8 galettes. roughly1/2 to3/4 inch thick. Roll the galettes in the parmesan/ breadcrumbs admixture to fleece.
Spray Air fryer handbasket charger with spray canvas or smoothly encounter with canvas.
Preheat air range to 375F/ 190C for 3 twinkles.
Precisely place mashed potato galettes into air range handbasket/ charger. Don’t overcrowd, give them some space.
Air shindig mode 375F/ 190C 8 twinkles, flipping half. Once flipped on the other side, be sure to spot again. In other words, cook 4 twinkles per side or until the breading crisps up and reach golden color with brownish spots.
